June 11, 2020

We are sad to announce that we are unable to have the 2020 St. Joseph Bazaar on the first weekend of August because of the current pandemic. As you know our Bazaar is a wonderful opportunity for St. Joseph Families to come together and build relationships while raising money to offset operational costs of the school as well as reduce tuition costs. Last year our Bazaar raised $115,000 for our school.

Our Bazaar Committee is working with Mrs. Wolfe and Father Tony to come up with another plan to have an event in place of the Bazaar once Phase 3 is in place. We have purchased a 2019 Ford Ranger Truck and have plans to sell raffle tickets for the truck once school resumes. We are hoping to have the drawing on Oct 24th, at a “Bazaar Event.”  Because of the uncertainty of what the fall will look like, we can not guarantee the October event will take place. We are also considering a “Virtual Bazaar” similar to what Sacred Heart has done this year. We do not have details worked out at this time, but we hope to soon.

We are also aware that many families earn the majority of their service hours by working the Bazaar, the school is currently working on a plan to help offset some of those hours. We wanted to be transparent with you on what we are dealing with and make sure you know that we are working hard to come up with a new plan. We are looking forward to the 2020 School year and being with you all again soon.

Have a blessed summer,
